Mary Yee


Mary Yee joined Tatcha as Chief Executive Officer in October 2021, inspired by the brand’s innovative approach to skincare and its ability to be a catalyst for overall well-being.

Since her appointment as CEO, the brand has maintained double-digit growth in the U.S., while expanding globally to 17 total markets. Her appointment at Tatcha marked Mary’s return to consumer products, having held leadership positions with Johnson & Johnson and The Clorox Company earlier in her career.

Prior to Tatcha, Mary served as Senior Vice President of Global Marketing for PlayStation at Sony Interactive. Under her stewardship, PlayStation reclaimed global leadership in the gaming industry, expanding brand relevance in popular culture while igniting passion within a community of over 100 million gamers. She also led the global launch of PlayStation 5 in 2020, the most successful platform launch in the company’s storied history.

Mary’s experience in consumer products and technology gives her the unique ability to create distinctive phygital brand experiences for Tatcha. Going forward, she will also continue to evolve the brand’s distinct proposition and drive momentum through world-class products with a transformative impact on both skin and well-being for Tatcha’s growing base of avid clients.

Mary continues to collaborate with innovators in the space of beauty and technology. She serves on the boards of Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW), an all-female board of beauty industry leaders and mentors, and Podium Audio, an award-winning, audio-first entertainment company dedicated to servicing emerging independent storytellers. Mary holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
